Save the Date: Shikoku Fair 2022 Demonstration & Tasting
September's season fair will feature exclusive products from Shikoku Region, Japan. Visit Tokyo Central and Marukai at our participating store locations on the following days (**see schedule below**) and you can get a chance to taste local Shikoku products!
Shikoku is an island located southwest of Honshu including Ehime, Kagawa, Tokushima, and Kochi prefectures. The weather is relatively warm throughout the year, the Setouchi side having a Mediterranean-like climate with low precipitation, while the Pacific side having large annual precipitation due to frequent typhoons. Taking advantage of its mild climate, each region produces distinctive agricultural products, also the production of marine products is high because it is surrounded by the sea.

This month Tokyo Central’s season fair will be importing foods straight from the Shikoku Island! From Thursday, 9/15 to Wednesday, 10/12, you can explore the specially curated selection of products from Shikoku Region.
