The Ehime Fair will be held in October 2023, and it's a great opportunity to discover unique products from Ehime prefecture located in Shikoku Island, Japan. The region is blessed with warm and sunny weather throughout the year, and its soil is rich in nutrients and well-drained, making it an ideal spot for growing citrus fruits like mandarin oranges. You can also see terraced fields covered with stone walls that stretch out on the slopes along the coastline.
In September 2023, we are featuring exclusive products from the Shikoku region, Japan. Shikoku Island is located southwest of Honshu and includes the four prefectures of Ehime, Kagawa, Tokushima, and Kochi. This region is a major domestic food supplier due to its favorable location near a major consumption center and a network of bridges and highways leading to other regions.
